Just bought a new Half shaft From the dealer for my 92 integra race car. And the new half shaft wont go into the Quaiffe differential in the tranny. The old one goes in just fine but the new one wont go in even if i force it hard. The part numbers are the same and markings match. What could be the problem. Any help would be great. TIA
Sometimes we find that the new shafts have slight burrs on them that will make them really hard to get in, and with the Quaife it may be just little more tight then the oe diff, try taking a very fine v file and polish all of the groves on the shaft, this usually works.

If that doesn't work, you can try putting thr splines back to back to see how much you have to file down. I would usually mic it to make sure.
