b16a crx, i need help with my vtec, or bogging at 7500rpms
aiight. heres the downlow. i got my b16a1 installed in my crx. everything was kool but i notice that 3rd gear would bog at around 7500rpms. it sat around for awhile cuz i live in cali.... emissions that haunt the jdm society... but i got my motor to pass... cough... and now the motor boggs at arong 7500rpms every gear. i duno if it has to do with my vtec or what. u guys ever had that problem? or thinks whats goin on? my ecu is PR3.

sweet, thanks. then what do u think options do i have? chip ecu? like from ebay. or do what u did? or what? thanks alot. i gotta smile on my face.

most likely auto pr3
and stay away from ebay ecu chips. i have two pr3 chips i can sell you for cheap and they are real deal, not copies.
