Ok, I am thinking to myself my b16a seems very slow!!!! It feels like when I get moving that something is holding me, because as your sitting in the car riding it feels as though something is forcing the car to not move like it should. Like your moving but you can feel the power and its not going to the wheels.

I was wondering, if it could be my brake's. I got brembo brakes up front, and I was wondering could my calipers be locking on the my brakes? But wouldn't this make smoke or be noticebly smelly or something. I am confused and pissed off.

Any idea's to my confusion

 

I actually seen a show on speed network today which actually explained what might be happening with your brake setup. Okay if you put bigger rotars on, which are lighter weight you actually will lose hp because the weight is displaced farther from the centre or the hub which means it needs more power to turn and you lose hp to you wheels. But because you think there lighter you should be going faster. They dyno'd it and lost 12hp on a rsx.

 

well that's great so how do I fix the problem

 

remove the larger than stock rotors
