You would still need to cut a jumper to return the ECU to it's stock form..

no, no, no.

Why would you have to cut something to go back to stock?

PM me and I will help you out, I need to know a few things.

The actual hondata unit is, but the stock EEPROM had to be removed and the EEPROM that hondata provided were soldered in so the hondata can plug up to the ECU..

On OBD1 ecus, jumper J1 controls weather the ECU loads a program from an external EPROM, or internaly from the MPU. If J1 is not jumpered, the ECU will load it's program internally from the MPU, i.e. "stock"

My ECU was prepped by Hondata, I think they had to unsolder my stock EPROM and resoldered a EPROM they provided. If the J1 was not jumpered, will the ECU be stock at that point? My ecu is OBD1..
