Honestly I don't think it will be done. I think it needs a little more to his 13.9

Slicks, and full exhaust with no cat. You'll run 13.9 easily.

with slicks... it is very possible. without them... I would say the chances are very slim.

honestly i think its possible with some good tires and MM... i ran a 14.5 with just CAI and MM... and my friend ran 14.4 with the same mods.. so with hondata.. if u dont get 13.9 ull be damn close to it..

http://www.web-cars.com/math/qtr_mile.html

the type-s is ~2700 lbs.... with a CAI and hondata, you are looking at a ~30HP gain over stock... add the average 17% loss... lets say 5hp... total to the flywheel is approximately 235hp.

Sorry, but you're looking at approximately 14.4 with just those mods...

Lets say the cars running great at 240 to the flywheel, you're still looking at 14.3...

Head over to CRSX, people have been running low 14's with CAI and Hondata. MM's wouldn't hurt your chances at all. Slicks would get the job done, but a set of azenis might get the job done. Just practice launching.

Also, from what I've read, the slicks available wont fit over the RSX-S brakes, so people have been swapping out the S brakes for the BASE brakes.

You all are discussing mod's that he wasn't... he asked is it possible to get 13's with CAI/Hondata. And maybe with a MM and better tires... it might be close, but not likely...

I do not see how Slicks can help an RSX type S. You cannot rev past 5500rpm while stationary with a stock ECU, that is not high enough to benefit from slicks. You will bog every time. You will not run 13's with CAI and hondata.
