i am thinking of blocking off my antenna and taking it out completly. my question is, if i still wanna listen to the radio would i be able to connect my antenna wire strate to the frame of my car and just use the hole car as a big antenna?

No, you wouldn't get any reception that way. To test it out, take a portable radio, and hook that antenna to the ground of your car and see what happens.

 

If you still want to listen to the radio after removing the antenna, just buy an el-cheapo extending antenna and then stuff it up under your dash.
