code 15 is ignitor. make sure its hooked up correctly. the si harness shouldnt even work on an hf but since theres no other codes it doesnt look that bad

my car is a dx, so i had dpfi then i converted it to mpfi for a ls swap but the motor was fucked up when i started it so i just converted back to dpfi and put my dpfi manifold on a b7 motor. i had no error codes with my ls but when i tried to start my b7 i got a code 15, so i switched the 2 white wires and now i got spark

tried swapping the wires, no luck....if i let it sit for a while then come back and turn the key to the second position, i will get one spark, then when i try to start it nothing....i think the harness on the zc is an si harness... would swapping it to my old hf harness do anything different? does that sound like posibly the problem? or does this sound like the ignitor......how do you take the ignitor out, it's the box with like 5 plugs on it right?

you need to use the HF harness - the Si and HF are different - where the engine harness plugs into the chassis harness at the firewall on the driver's side, all of the wires are in different locations in the two connectors

dont listen to 89hatch, yes it is the one with the plugs in it, and yes you can take the ignitor out and they are swapable with other honda dist because when i did my ls swap i wasnt getting any spark, stupidly because i forgot to plug back in the connector on the driver shock tower, but i thought it was my ignitor so i took out my ls and put in my stock b2 dx ignitor and then i saw the unplugged connector and put it together and it started right up. there is a way to test the ignitor to see if its bad, sorry i dont know the procedure off hand. but i would find that procedure to test to if its the ignitor because the procedure will tell you whether its the ignitor or a wire

you might want to switch back to the hf harness
