Default Drag piping vs Revhard piping vs Custom?

Drag piping vs Revhard piping? Pros Cons.. Is one better than the other?

Would it be cheaper to go custom piping?

Opinions needed.

i can do custom pipes for you, fit for your car, drag pipng needs modifications. revhard fits a bit better but unless you have a full revhard kit it doenst fit as well, if you got an aftermarket intercooler then hit me up

280$ tig welded piping. bov flange of your choice.

if you have a gsr i got soem ic piping kits for sale.

Custom is definately cheaper. If you get it anodized it may start to become more pricey. I have a link to some good information on piecing together custom piping. I'll post it when I get home from work.

Call me different, but I like the DRAG piping. Bling bling chrome.... hah.

I like the routing better than the RevHard for the GSR manifold especially.

When I had my Revhard kit back in the day, I got the polished version i liked it. It wasn;t chrome like the Drag piping, so it stayed cool and I didn't have to worry about it rusting. I remmebered being able to touch my piping after driving and it wasn't hot as opposed to the Drag piping, which retained more heat due to the chrome finish. It's really a matter of preference. Somethign to keep inmind though on the Revhard polished piping(unles it's changed) only the charge pipe is polished the rest is normal, whereas the Drag piping is all chrome finshed.

Now onto custom. IMO prefabbed piping is overpriced. This is an area of your turbo kit where you can easily save $150-$250.

I'll admit I like bling too, but I wasnt about to pay $400-500 for some bling piping. When i pieced together my kit back in august I priced Revhard non polished regular piping with clamps/hoses, and total was $405

I decided to go Custom, and order from Jcwhitney, I had an excellent welder local(tony1) so in the end I spent like $225 and it looks great, minus the fact that it's not bling bling, but for the $$ i saved I a glad i went the custom route. All it take is a couple welds and half a brain to do DYI piping.

Yea the only piping kit that requires any modification is the 88-91 Civic/CRX kit. All other DRAG piping kits fit pretty much perfect. Stop the rumors!
