well I got home today and was workin on puttin in my sir cluster when I noticed the tranny side of my motor was leaning down a bit... much to my suprize the mount had completly cracked across the back around the bushing.

I dont know when it happened, I havent been doing any racing lately. Keep in mind these are the prebillit hasport mounts. I called hasport and they said they are going to replace it i just have to send mine in. I have had these mounts in my car for over a year and I bought them used from someone on here no telling how long they used them.

yeah this is the 3rd case that I've heard about the tranny mount cracking. That's great that they are sending you a new one.

Are they sending you a new BILLET or a weld one? haha just curiouse cause you'll have mistmatched mounts. LOL as long as you get one.

i was wondering that myself i told them on the phone i had the prebillet mounts, but he said thats no problem, i was gonna call em back tommorow before i sent mine back in to be be sure i wasnt getting mismatched mounts. i think the new ones have a bit different placement too. happy 20th bday to me

ill see i guess, i gotta go to work now so i wont be takin it out till tommorrow anyway.

id honestly like to just get the hydro conversion kit, but ill prolly just stick with the cable trannies for now

hmmm...

ALL of my HASPORT mounts look like the bushing is pulling out of the mount.

i might have to call them up and send in my mounts.

 

i decided to go ahead and take the mount out tonight.... let me say its pretty bad, if the rear mount wasnt holding it up, i wouldve had a tranny on the ground... pics will be posted tommorrow once i get to a friends house to load the pics up from his digicam i borrowed.
