dizzy conversion obd0 to obd1??

Default dizzy conversion obd0 to obd1??

i just need help to somehow.. get my jdm b16 obd0 distributor to run... obd1 i appreciate the help

I don't know that you can actually gut a pre-1992 distributer and use 1992+ parts in that body to make it work with a 1992+ ECU. As far as I know, you have to use the complete 1992+ distributer.

havent been online for a while...but yeah there is a way to do it...but was areasonable price for someone to do it....please dont post if your not sure

You can not run the OBD1 distributor on an OBD0 ecu.

With this you can Run It

yes you can I've already tried and ran an OBD1 dizzy with a OBD0 ecu and works fine, but you can't run and OBD1 ecu with OBD0 dizzy I got CEL (4).

i second that. i swapped a b18b1 OBD1 in my crx. tried to splice the OBD1 dizzy that came with the motor, but no, it was click but it would not fully turn over. till i realized. you CANT do that, so i picked up a OBD0 91 ls dizzy to match wit my ECU (91 ls). ... started like a champ.. hope that helped...

btw i already have a wiring harness conversion, i was just trying to see if i can convert the obdo dizzy to obd1 since it did come out from the sir crx (obd0)

I wired an OBD1 dizzy to my OBD0 B16 swap trying to get rid of code 4, it worked but I still had a damn code 4

no $hit that's what I said. I've tried both combinations and the only that works is
OBD1 dizzy running with OBD0 ecu, some people just jump to conclusion when they have NOT actualy spent the time to do this.

well i have the wiring harness conversion (obd0 to obd1) and i have the p28 ecu with a mugen chip the only thing im asking is IF i can some how use my obd0 jdm b16 dizzy and convert it to obd1 somehow...i know this can be done bc they were charging me $50 but i think thats 2 high....or is it reasonable??
anyone know a site of some sort to do this on your own

the engine will run but with CEL code (4). but you should get the OBD1 dizzy.
