hey guys, i'm doing a fuel pump kill switch but im having trouble figuring out which wire to cut. i have gone through EVERY post in this forum regarding a kill switch and they can't help me. everyone says there are two wires, a yellow and a black one. well, i have 6 wires that go directly to the fuel pump. yes, 6, and two of them are yellow/green. so what the hell do i cut? i can't find a single picture of the wires to cut, and im getting frustrated because this job should have been done 30 minutes ago.
if anyone can tell me what the hell i'm supposed to cut (maybe i'm looking at the wrong set of wires?), or even better can show a PICTURE, i would greatly appreciate it. i need it quick! thanks guys

I did mine this weekend, works great. The wire is a yellow wire with a green stripe and silver spots. And just to let people know, instead of taking up the back seats or running the wire from the front, you can take up the carpet in the driver side rear right next to the seat and get at the wire, all in all, took me about 10 minutes to wire.
that is my little secret.a lot of people run them to somewhere on the dash, some people under the seat, others in the arm rest. I have heard of people running a relay through their power windows so you have to push that down to start the car.
I want to wire it to my radio so that u need the radio plugged in to start the car. Anyone knows which wire I should cut in the radio harness to accomplish thig??
i'm not an electrician in any way but sounds like you could wire it to your remote turn on that you would run an amp to, or your power antenna, but i'm not sure how you would connect it to your switch.

alot of people remove their cruise control from their tegs anyway so why not use the cruise control button on the dash, it would be perfect for a kill switch cause its already an on/off type switch just wire it up to your positive on the fuel pump. another place to locate a toggle switch is take off your console peice with the shift boot on it, mount a toggle switch right next to your shifter where it isnt in the way but make it to where when you have the console peice back on, you can push your finger in the boot and toggle the switch on/off, has to be a slightly stiff switch to prevent it disengaging while shifting, thats where I have mine located, I have a rocker type switch its not a toggle lever, well hidden.

the cruise control thing is good but you have to solder in a jumper onto the board of the actual module to bypass the circuitry on the switch, I did one of many in my car to like that and it wouldnt work until i soldered in that jumper.
