Yep, there is a set of 14" gun metallic ones here..

Its in sydney though. (where I live)

Im thinking about fitting them onto my civic vti-r hatch. (equivalent of US Si coupe)

They come with dunlop semi slicks...at a bit of a bargain price.

If any company but Mugen made them, you'd all be screaming out RICE sooo fast. Face it, those rims are ugly as ****! Just cuz Mugen makes them, doesn't make them rims from God.

Personally, I think they look quite unique.
Sure they arent drop dead gorgeous, and the fact that the ones I am talking about are missing the mugen centrecaps means that I wouldnt be able to boast they were mugen even if I did buy them.

I do however, find them quite alluring.
How they are rice is beyond comprehension to me, they are 14 inch lightweight gunmetal black.
Probably the opposite to rice.

I ended up buying my JDM ITR rims just because they are rare. I've never seen those mugens before, so I would probably end up getting them. What color car are you putting them on?

It looks like the back of an electric motor (electric fan) or something. But it's one of a kind.

id have to agree.. if some other company like american racing made those wheels.. with the exact same specs including weight and what not.. you guys would call those ugly. but because it says "mugen" on it.. theyre tite all of a sudden.

not saying that everyone thinks that way, but most do.

you know with spoons and volks and other stellar designs like so people dont appreciate the fact that these rims are ****** almost 15 years old...

Now I dont know about you but back in the 80;s those rims were pretty bad ***, fucked up looking wheels like that was the hot **** to put on your honda crx hf back in the days...

all of you people are just followers of trends and have no true appreciation for the devloping culture of the import scene and because they arent spoons, or volks, or racingharts they are ugly...

You have to think about it...

15 year old rims that are in immaculate condition, been raced on beat up, AND STILL ****** EXISt...

now dwats some quawity H TU OH!

yeah.. mc hammer pants were also hot **** back in the days... as well *** cross color shirts.. so if we found you a mint condition set of those mc hammer pants youd rock them.

anyways, like i said.. most people think theyre tite because theyre mugen and not because of the fact they actually like them... NOT ALL people think like that.

MUGEN WHEELS suck *****! That is why I have some. Who cares, buy them if you like them. No matter what they are no MF10's. Sh*t, I have MR5's and those are no RNR's. Not all MUGEN wheels are created equal, but then again Racing Hart, Volk, they all come out with some ugly sh*t sometimes. Does anyone know where I can get some mint condition MC Hammer Pants?

hehehe,

My hatch is a silver EK. Ive seen photos of them on a black hatch, and they look ok. They would probably look a lot better on an EG.

Anyhow, great forum guys...
Didnt want to cause any controversy, just asking if you guys dig this sort of stuff over in the states.

Cheers from oz.

BTW I can get a hold of some hammer pants if you really want them, only been worn once.

I got some cross colors, hypercolors and mc hammer pants made out of hypercolor material so when you sweat, your ball sack area turns pink. With your purchase, you get a sticker of MC Hammer in a civic rocking those ugly *** mugen rims.

I like them, but since these rims are 15 years old they would only look good on an old car. I think they would look sweet on a Datsun 510 or something like that.
