98-01 GSR: Bad Exhaust Manifold?
So, there's a rattling in my stock exhaust manifold. Dealer said the divider became loose.
Is there a thread that discusses this? Is this common in GSR's? I'm already getting a header, but I wanted Acura to cover the exhaust manifold in my warranty.
Any thoughts?

(yes, this is a very common problem, the heatshields rattle somewhere along the exhaust system).

happened to my 94 GSR, it was a very loud and sharp rattling that only happened at 3000-3400. if thats not what your hearing its probably just a loose heatsheild. i just replaced my header as soon as i could and the problem was gone.

I have a rattling noise as well, but it only happens on cold starts. Once it warms up, it sort of stops. I know it was some where a long the header. Is my problem similar to yours?
