Default AEM bypass problem after install check engine light ON!

I just install the AEM by-pass onto my car. I mounted it between the throttle body and the AEM intake pipe because I didnt wanted to cut the pipe in two. My engine light came on and my car was running very RICH on fuel. And I need to rev it to 3k for the car the move at all in 1st gear. Its giving me engine code 3 (map sensor problem) but dont know how to fix it. I had the intake for two years the light never came on, but now it came on two times. Let me know what could be the prolbem. THANKS a lot for your help!!

Maybe the thing is too close to the trottle body. do you have a CAI!?! If not then don't bother with the bypass. If so, start cutting.

yeah, either start cutting and place between it instead of near the throttle or reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery and that may work too. i would think that cutting the pipe and putting bypass there is better.
