adjusting timing on LS. what should it be?

adjusting timing on LS. what should it be?

what degree should i put it on? just came back from getting smog check and it's off. i'm set at 12 degree. the guy said i should have it from 14-18. what should i put it to?

should be on the emmision label under the hood.

The timing should be 16 + or - 2, so 14-18 is correct.
