Well I need a JDM ITR ECU since I'm running a JDM Cat.

My car is a 98 ITR and I was wondering if it needs a hanress for the 00 JDM ITR ECu?

Thanks

It should be a direct PnP.

What the heck does a JDM cat have to do with a JDM ECU?? What ECU should I run with a test pipe?

I'm pretty sure a JDM R ECU won't work w/ a USDM engine. Reason being is that JDM R engines have no crank flux sensor, and the VTEC pressure switch is built into the ECU, and is not on the solenoid itself like on USDM engines.

It'll work.

The engine will have a few more sensors that the ECU won't need. It's like as if they weren't even there.

ignoring obd2a and obd2b issues, this is correct.. not sure if the a and b even comes into play though..

JDM ITR ECU goes right into 98 ITRs, i know that much..
