EWWWWWWWWWWW! NEON!
If you do not mind being a little slow then go with EP3, it is a fun car. Otherwise, save a few buck and get a DC5, IMO.

ok. besides the complains about their tranny. anyone experiencing warped rotors/ early wear of pads? how about engine stability? does anyone feel as if the engine would drop anytime. fyi. i don't drag it's a dily river and i've taken it on togue once. no major mods. just little ones the BC III ex, tanabe springs, and rota c8's
a) my tranny is fine, 32k miles.
b) no early wear issues, still have a little bit left on the pads now.
c) engine seems very stable, my fuel econ. has actually improved with age.
d) the steering rack squeak I had from lowering the car has suddenly disappeared, which rocks.

you have to decide that for yourself and maybe you should do some more research. I kind of regret not getting EVO, because I wanted it so much, but SI is definitely worth the price and no regrets.

I love mine, it handles like a Go-cart. Fun to drive, you always catch someone eye, most people have never seen one of these kinda cars.
And (back me up here guys) you always hear " Wow look where they put the shifter!!!!"
I don't look back on mine, just take it for a test drive, do what I did, find the cutest sales girl, tell her you want to take the car for a LONG test drive, brought my sales girl out to lunch, we put about 50 -60 miles on the car that afternoon.

It's more ergonomcally correct and more comfortable than most cars I've driven.

Best civic I have owned stock. Everybody has so HIGH expectations when they see "civic SI", remember, it's just a civic.
If your looking for power, do a swap or turbo the damn thing. Every civic model needs to be swapped or turbo'ed to satisfy some peoples needs.
