ok, I got an s2000 steering wheel a while ago without an airbag and finally got the airbag the other week for it. THEN i see this on ebay...

and then I check THIS on majestic honda's site:



I see no place in there for the clockspring at all?? not only that but when I put the airbag in the steering wheel...it doesn't look like there'd be room for it?? Though I am still at a loss on how to secure the bag at this point

My airbag has the yellow plug coming out of the back of it but it goes right into the airbag...not into anything that looks like that clockspring assembly??

Do I need this part?

I dont want to get it all in the car, hook power back up, and have the bag blow on me...

 

That part is for s2000's only I believe. s2000's steering wheel swaps onto a civic for instance not only don't require but cant use that piece.

 

dont put it on then!
