Is the IAT(intake air temperature sensor) plugged into the fuel rail on 99-00 b16 fuel rails or is it in the manifold somewhere? thanks rod

 

It's not on the fuel rail. No sensors on the rail.

no, the intake air temperature sensor. It like a sensor and has a 1in point on it.

 

I don't think it's on the B16a2 Fuel rail, in fact no sensors are on there that I know of.
It's just a bunch of mounts for your injector harness and such.

 

The IAT goes into the intake pipe just before the TB.

 

It is located on the intake pipe

 

can anyone post a pic of the location??? I know you told me before the throttle body. I like to see a pic, i search and no luck.

 

there should only be one sensor going into the intake pipe just before the throttle body. That's the IAT sensor.
