Default H22 Tranny Questions

I just dropped in a H22A4 Motor in my eg.
The tranny feels pretty laggy. You can feel the motor pulling but does response as well.
My buddys jdm-h22 response feels 3 times quicker when comparing.
The timing is correct and all the wiring is also.
Can this tranny be a H23 tranny that i have on my ride?
Or a Older gen Accord F22?
Is there any specific markings on the H22 tranny in which it proves it came off a h22?
Please someone give me a hand here?

On the side of the tranny there should be some serial numbers, Take a look and tell us what the numbers say. From there we should be able to tell you what trans you have.

M2F4 4-gen prelude.
At the same time how do you know if someone just slapped the sticker on to the tranny?
Because i am basing this on the response and gearing when you drive the car.
Not the tranny code.
get back at me anyone who can help.
Thanks.
