Hey whats Up..
The other day we were at my friends house and got around to talking about b20vtec, and what block was best and **** and someone said that they used a b20 from a 88-91 prelude, said that some **** with dowel pins had to be done and some other **** had to be done, but neways I got to thinking an was wondering what kinda of tranny they had in the those years of preludes? Are they cable or hydro, and if they are cable are they the same as a 90-93 integra cable tranny??
Knowing that b's go with b's and **** I thought it would bolt up but was not sure about the mounts. If anyone knows about this hit meeh Up....

the term of b20vtec refers to using a crv bottom end and having a b series dohc vtec head machined to plug up the oil feed hole and tap an oil line to it for a feed from the back of the block and also using dowel pins to accomodate the vtec head on the non vtec block. b20 blocks from the earlier ludes are different from the current crv blocks, not sure in what way but they both can be used i believe. about the trannies im not sure i would have to take a wild guess and say cable since thats what all the 88+ cars had.
