Default Engine running lean ... help

Ok today when i ran a compression test on my car, ( check my other post to read my compression test results, leaky third cylinder ) when i took my spark plugs out and looked at them they were all white, which means my car is running lean, right??? My motor it stock, the only thing i have done to my car is a comptech ice box. Is there a way to fix this without taking it to the dealer? And also what does this mean for my engine as far as performance and if it is getting hurt?

thanks guys

there are few possible ways

1) car is over heating. check your coolent
2) running lean
3) mis-firing

but, 70% you have crack on your radiator.

sorry have no pics

i noticed it when i was doing a compression test. i have been loosing about a quart of oil every 1000 miles, so when i pulled them the whole spark plug was white. All 4 of the spark plugs are the same color.

car has 56k on it if that helps

mine are white. its stock. and timing is were is should be at. im guessing since i drive my car like a granny, it stays in a more lean condition. i was told it runs lean for daily driving but runs rich when u get on it. dont know if its true, correct me if im wrong.

http://www.dansmc.com/Spark_Pl....html - you can compare to that

at partial throttle you are supposed to run lean, one way to check is right after wot run, its probably normal as far as your a/f goes.

btw, is your maintainance up to date? like dist. cap/rotor spark plug wires and spark plugs itself, fuel filter.

and, by any chance do you see any noticable leaks anywhere around the engine bay? underneath?

i say just take it easy with motor and try to get it fixed under warranty.

if your loosing quart every week or so, i'm 100% sure u don't have coolent in your engine, either your water pump is bad or your coolent is empty. check your coolent container
