Default Clutch is really soft

Alright So I got a problem.

I finished finally installing a clutch in my 88 DX and it feels really soft. I mean it feels great but I had to drive another car to work today and it felt stiff as ****.

Well I come to find out that my clutch is soft as hell!
Never miss shifts in it though???

Could this be a problem for me???

I have checked the Clutch Cable and it's tightened pretty tight and engagement is where I want it. Only thing is when the clutch does engage it's not as firm as I thought it would be.

Any advice would help.

First question everyone will want to know is what clutch are you using? If its a stock replacement, like an Exedy, then soft is normal. If your running a CM or ACT stage 2 or greater then there might be concern.
