oil return to oil pan, sandwich style setup, will it work??
Instead of welding a bung in the oil pan 20 bucks
I picked up a -10 AN bung that can be put into the oil pan and then sadwiched onto it with a nut and nylon washer on the inside with loctite
anyone ever do this? The shop said it would work perfectly fine and be more reasonable as well.

so guys were saying it would leak. Blah blah blah
but with loctite, nylon washers, and the fact it is 0 pressure it should be fine

Don't use JB Weld. I am using it and its separating from the oil pan. I am going to buy the fast-turbo.com fitting very soon.
jb weld would be good to seal a bulkhead (sandwich) style fitting though. You just need to prep the surface by grinding down to completely bare metal on all of the surfaces it will touch. Works most of the time but having it MIGd real quick is like a $5 job and is the "right" way to do it.

yea, that setup will work. the greddy kit's oil return like is setup something like that. JB weld would actuall work better then loctite, because doesn't look tite not seal when subject to heat. I have the greddy kit which is similar to that setup and i just used hondabond and the provided hardware which is pretty much the same idea.
so on the bulk head are you guys using the nylon washers?
Would honda bond work? I have super gray RTV but no honda-bond
