Default B16 head the same like B18 head???

Hello guys!
I need your help ! my head of my integra B18c has damage!!! one valve has broken and damage the head! it's can't be fixed!
So...... my question is what is the difference between the B18c head and the B16 head ???
and do i need to make some changes in the B16 to install it on my B18c block????

hey,

do you have a GSR (Sir-G) or Type R? on your head it will say P72 for GSR and PR3 for B16/B18C. All honda cars with vtec (type r, del sol vtec, 99-00 si) they all use the same PR3 with slight variations (lma's, cams, valve springs) the type r head has a slight port/polish from the factory.

so to answer ur question, yes!

You will lose a bit of compression by switching to the PR3 head, but it will bolt right up. You will need an intake manifold designed for a PR3 head though.
