Not a show car,

Not Strip/Drag car.

Just what it was intended for, got to: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=80658

I posted there because it's my home but also because I feel it my obligation to introduce more people to True sanctioned events and to use their cars/ITR's for what they were intended.

I have some new very strong opinions and impressions about racing but utmost I am here and here to stay.

Anton

I don't know why the link won't work but if a Tech could help, and link it I'd appreciate it alot.

My post is in the R forum under the same Title and I thought I linked it correctly.

It is very important to me that I express my feelings from todays event.

Thank you anyone,

A.

Yep, prepare to eat tires for breakfast.

Hmm... wonder if we could set up a Honda-Tech group account/buy with TireRack or something. I'd imagine we all burn through a collectively huge mass of tires pretty quickly. Wonder if our "club" might be able to get a discount for buying a ton of tires. Just a thought

This is a deep, dark hole you've fallen into.

Welcome

And where are you located?

Thank you everyone for the kind welcome,

True I have mainlined some pretty pure stuff and have developed a habit that consumes thousands at a time while on a good binge.

I am located somewhere in Westchester County, NY and raced my first race today with the Westchester Sports Car Club at the Palisades mall. We got 2 heats of 3 done by 2:30 pm and had time for fun runs too. My first run was a 41.5 but by my fun run I had improved to a 37.5!

I must say though how pleased I was that everyone was So friendly and helpful. I guess everyone's been a novice before? I was also impressed with how everything was organized and at how fast we were able to run again lap after lap. You guys are a great bunch "the racing community in general," and I felt liked I belonged from the beginning.

Many thanks and much appreciation to everyone involved in some sort of snactioned event wether it be a Grassroots style Auto-X or a big track event. You make me want to continue with my quest for speed even more. Especially when it's so much fun and well organized.

Thanks again to WSCC and my friends,

A.
