so I tried to do a installation for foglight and alarm system/keyless into my car today thinking that as long as i got the wire color figured out i'd be fine. so first I start with my keyless and alarm from prestige. I open up the cover undermy driver wheel and look for the wires. the color don't match i can't find where to T the wires. now I am afraid. then i try the foglight after did the search button found the wiring map it was great (thanks to those who post those information I really appreciated . anyways I pop the hood connect the red, ground and left with white, then look at the instruction ha. it's supposed to connect to the white from the switch inside. then I look and look. great here is my problem.

How do I run the wires into the car from inside of the hood? some one please help me here. I am dead stuck and feeling the total idiotism in me.

also if anything about wiring up a prestige for a 93 honda car would help a bunch .

There are small holes in the firewall, maybe 3"x2" ovals, just run your wires through there.

 

do you have a picture of where the whole is?

 

When you open the hood look at the left side (looking from the front) beneath the battery... there you will see the black rubber cap filling the hole that goes inside the cabin...

When you find it, just search the same thing going to the right side of the car (looking from the front)...

That is it...

 

You will see black rubber plugs usually with wires already going through. Just cut a little hole or fine one thats not being used. Make sure you put a grommet on there if you remove the plug. I generally just cut a little hole and run the wire through.

also, if you lift your battery up, remove the tray, there is the biggest gromet/hole for the entire engine harness, right thier is a good spot.
