high mileage boosting? Few other questions
I have an F22B1 with about 108K on the clock. Currently working on saving for an h23 5-spd conversion for my crap auto, then looking to go turbo. Just curious what was your mileage when you began boosting? Would it be a wise idea to get a lower mileage F22b1 or F23 engine or will I be just fine? Would 8lbs daily still be in the safe zone for my engine with this many miles, stock bottom end?
Also wanted to ask about how much I would look to be spending for a GOOD custom setup, would like to make about 250-270 whp. Would I need to build the bottom end a little to achieve these goals? If it's ballpark what I'd be spending on the tranny conversion, I may go turbo first. Which leads to my next question...
If I went turbo on the auto-trans how long should I expect it to last? What kind of power can they hold? I'd still swap the trans later on, but if I could run the auto with a turbo for a little while and have fun, I'd seriously look into it.
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice you can give me

started boosting since 90k miles.. now i have 105k.. engine is strong as ever.
auto tranny won't last long.. just swap in the 5spd, get an agressive clutch then boost.
