well, i recently swap a jdm h22 and convert it into a five speed, and last night i was drivin on the freeway, and the speed dial and rpm juss fell and stop movin, and the light start fadin, after awhile of driving like dat, it start trippen, like on 3rd gear it start shackin and it didnt wanna go in faster, wen i was makin a left turn on a intersection it juss stall, and wouldnt start. SO i tried to start it and the motor juss wouldnt crank up all the way, so i jump start it, so it work, and little by little it started all ova. so i decided to get a new battery cuzz my current one was mess up, the next mourning that battery died out while i was driving it. I wanted to know is it my alternator? i wanna knoe before i buy a new one and it wont help.

 

ur alternator is proably bad too, but i doubt that was the source of the problem......when u did the swap, did u replace the water pump, timing belt, fuel filter, etc.???........coulda been something along that lines

 

yea everything was change even the timing belt. do u dink the alternator is drainin all the power?

 

it is probably the alternator...either that, or you have a crazy *** short some where...

 

na none of the wirin are exposed, its juss wen i run the engine for awhile then i turn it off and try to restart it and it seem like the battery is drain out because before it crank up smooth and now berly.

 

definitely try changing out the alternator...
