2nd a/c bracket to bite the dust
Ok, this is my 2nd hasport bracket to fail me. I'm sorry if I come across as bad mouthing the company, but come on...I'm tired of this happening. I'm using my Matsushita compressor and the right standoffs as directed. Both of mine were put on by two different certified mechanics so I'm just confused here. It's gettin hot in the south now and I have no a/c.

These are the standoffs I used and the bolt that broke on me after the bracket cracked. It broke on my drive home from college for spring break.

Here you can see the chunk of alum. missing and the clear break in the same spot as last time.

Here you can see my lovely face modeling the beautiful bracket.

Here's my old bracket.

The first time they replaced it all for free, shipping and all. Since then apparently they have changed their policy on this and I've been told so far that I must pay shipping out to them. While this may be only a few dollars to send, I don't understand why I'm the one having to pay.
The first one's reasoning was probably correct of overtightening it by the shop, but the 2nd mechanic I told that to not gorilla tighten it down b/c of that earlier problem.

Hopefully I can have some a/c goin on soon.
