Default Buying a DC5 or EP3 dilemma

Hi guys,

I know this topic has been stated over and over again, but i have a unique situation. My parents are buying me a car (um yah don't hate me cuz my parents are buying me a nice car) anyways um I have a choice between an EP3 or a DC5-S, but the thing is everybody i know hates the EP3 (i 0n0 why i like it but i do) and ppl are telling me to get the DC5S, but my older bro has a automatic regular one. What do you think about siblings driving the same car? i for one think its sorta nerdy. The thing tho is that the DC5S is like a completely different car from the EP3 and even the DC5, the performance is soo supposedly be like completely better. So thats where my dillemma is. Would i regret getting the EP3? My dad will most likely buy me rims for either car and probably a body kit for either one too, because i was supposed to get a more expensive car but he didnt think it was fair to my older bro so whatever ...but newayZ what do you guys think? Oh another factor is that the dc5 is soo abundant like every teenager is getting one around where i live, should that be an incentive to buy an EP3?

What color do you favor in the EP3? my cousin said that ppl would laugh at me if i got vivid blue.. is that true? haha okay i sound nerdy but whatever, please um leave nice comments bye

dude i posed a similar ? a few weeks ago, and hands down i'm choosin the ep3, have't grabbed it yet, but i'm gettin it soon, but i have the same dilema to a point, all my friends told me to get the dc5 and that the ep3 was hideous, i personally love the car, especially in silver or nighthawk black, the vivid blue pearl is allright, i kno some1 with it and its pretty tight.

but the main differences between the car is pretty much there is more room in the ep3, shifter in a WAY different place than most cars, 160hp 5 speed manual (k20a3 engine)

the dc5-s is 6speed 200hp (k20a2 engine) not as roomy and sooo many people have 1, i like the ep3 but it was also a bonus that i've only seen 1 in the past 6 months

since its obvious money isn't an option for u , and if the hp is what u want, but u like the ep3, instead of the rims and body kit go turbo/sc or a full engine swap to the k20 or k20a2 ...or both haha, that would help ya out a lot

but pick a car u like, test drive the type s and the ep3 whichever 1 is more u, go with it, because in the end its you who has to live with your car, not everyone else

RSX-S hands down, no question about it. Especially if you are planning on modding. Type S has waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more potential.

if i were you, i wouldnt let what other people drive or think be a factor. test drive both, and whichever you enjoy driving more and whichever is more aesthetically pleasing to you, go with that one.(yes i realize that 1 of them may not do both of these, but thats where decision making comes in)

Dude, I own a DC5S and have no regrets. You say you think driving the same car is nerdy? Well, by getting the ep3 you are. It's the same as the base rsx as far as the mechanical aspect. Anyways,l when it comes down to it, it's what you want but I do suggest getting the type s just for the simple fact it'll beat your bro's car everytime! I don't think I could live with myself knowing I got a the slower car of the two.

o great.. some high school immature that cares about what others think.

dude.. grow up. let the ******** say what they wanna say, and do what YOU want to do instead of changing your life around other peoples thoughts.

Personally.. EP3 and DC5S are pretty different cars. Though they have similar engines.. the RSX is by far a much nicer and better car.

The suspension on the EP3 is pretty crappy as well.. i mean, have you ever seen somebody turn one of them hard? the whole body rolls like crazy..
i guess it could be remedied with stiffer bars and some stiffer springs+shocks.

IMO, the EP3 looks ugly as ****.. one of the many ugly new cars in this age that don't look as good as their older generations..
wouldn't you rather have a Honda Oddysey?

The RSX is better,.. a hell of a lot more potential, more power, more fun, all these extras. Who cares if there isn't as much room in the back as the EP3 (which doesn't have much room as it is), you're not gonna be somebody's bitch and give people rides all the time.. (i hope)

If money isn't an option for a fortunate boy like you, I would go for the RSX.

theres alot of potential in the EP3.. ofcourse i have one...and i kno the rsx type S has more powe.r. im not sure about the body roll your talking about....
but as in potential....ive seen alot of potential.. specially the price factor.. you can get one now for 14 to 15k used with very low miles.. and just spend a few G's on a swap and your would take the rsx anytime...the EP3 was ugly to me.. but when i looked at it more... you will love it.. specially the interior of the ep3 is nicer...and alot more room in the ep3...but stock to stock vs price.. ep3 is the way to go...
