i have a 92 hatch i lowered it 2.5" front and 2.25" in the back on s/t shocks and struts and some sprint springs. Its sitting on 16" c'8s and there is about a 2 finger wheel gap front and back. I was thinkin about gettin the sprint 3.25" front 3.0" back springs. i want the wheels to be tucked a lil, anybody have there eg lowered this much and is it a good hieght? also should i just get adjustable coilovers instead? if any one has pics that would help too thanks...

I ride a "2 finger gap" also.. About 25" to the fender.. I think that the coil-overs are the way to go if you need to rasie or lower the car, but the only major factor is the ride quality. Since they are justable, I've noticed on my ride that I only want a 1 in drop on all sides to get a right kinda wheel feedback I'm looking for.

I think if you find the right coils your better of, but it's kinda nice dropping to get that wheel tuck, but sometimes it sucks for other things then "look"

 

ride with a 3in drop spring cant be any worse thean some shitty sleve/coilovers. Just buy real coilovers if you want that drop with a good ride.

 

i know a real coilover system is the way to go but im in school and i dont have the loot to drop u know. i was thinkin that if i got the 3.25" drop it couldnt be that much worse than what i have now.

 

get 17's and you'll lessen the gap. i have 17's and the coilovers set all the way down and the wheels tuck in about 1/2 an inch.

 

I have some slightly used Ground control coilovers with integra spring rates that would set you up right. Pm me if interested.

Thats a good start.

I know alot of guys say real coilovers are the way to go but damn they're costly and I really haven't seen (at least in an autox) them perform better than g/c's or the like.

Unless you allready have your engine where you want it horsepower wise (like that will EVER happen ) spend the loot on things that will make a bigger difference in performance.

shot yourself.

Best advice is save up from some ground controls/konis, progressive is making a new lower end full coilovers with a really nice shock (custom rates av) thats on the way within this qtr.

i have 97 ex coupe with tein coilovers super street and they are adjusted all the way down an d i have 15 inch si wheels on the car and i still cant get all my wheels to tuck in i want it to be slammed is there any suggestions on how i can slam them will a camber do the trick my car sits pretty low right now the top of the tire is at the fender but how do u get them tucked in ????
