Default Speedo Cluster?

Hey all. I have a 89 Civic that does not have a tach in the Speedo Cluster? Can anyone tell me what year and model speedo clusters, integra or civic, will work in my old Civic? I do not want to buy an aftermarket speedo to get this because I don't want to spend the money.

Thanks in advance,
Dave

you dont need nything aslong as you have the same year. like say you have a 89 DX you need a 88-89 si cluster to swap in the and it will be a direct plug in for you, just a couple screws on the dash pull your dash apart and unhook your old cluster then hook up the new one just like the old one WAS hooked up. put your dash back on. and WHA-LA, all done. you wont need anything else except for the cluster. and maybe a few bulbs might wanna get your cluster pluged in the look at it to make sure all the bulbs are working befor you put your hole dash back together so you wont have to just take it aprt again.

hope this helped you

Is it the same way with a 91 HB? Found a couple clusters for sale and want to make sure they will fit my car.
