i have no idea where these two things are.
i put on a new distributor this morning and i need to check the timing. i got the cheltons book but it doesnt show visually where these parts are.
also is it safe to drive after changing the distributor housing and not adjusting timing? cause i just drove like 10 miles to school.......
the cheltons book says the connector is under the right front kick panel...in a 91 accord and is blue. i have no idea wtf a right kick panel is. and why do i have to find this anyway ,
i think the flywheel is what the timing belt runs on, but i didnt see any marks on there. somebody help me please, thanks

it sounds like ur just trying to make sure its timed right. In the 91 you have only have it two ways, correct, or 180 degrees off. It is hard to see off of the fly wheel, so what I do is:
Take the plug wires off of the spark plugs.
Pull the number one spark plug.
Put your thumb covering the hole, but not into the engine.
Have someone turn the key to have the engine turn over once at a time, when the compression forces your thumb to come up, it is on the number one cylinder.
Now go to your distributor and turn it until it points the the number one terminal. Now put on the distributor and there you go.
