Default my rpm's are all f'd up after S2 manifold install

i used all new gaskets and cleaned off the old ones very well, and my rpm's bounce between 1100 and 1500 non stop, is this normal and what can i do. thanks

clean out ur iacv, bleed ur coolant sys., and check for vac leaks

ok, how do i clean the iacv? thats the sensor on top of the manifold right? i've never heard of bleeding the coolant system, how do i do that? do i check for vacume leaks by ear or is there a better way. thanks

to check for vac. leaks u take carb clearner and spray it near ur vac. hoses. to clean the iacv u remove it and spray it with carb cleaner to remove deposits, i believe its on the back of the int. manifold if they are anything like an ls. and to bleed the coolant sys. you have to find the bleeder valve by the themastat housing( top radiator hose area), to bleed it you have to have the car running and crack the screw with a 12mm wrench and get all of the air out of the sys.(just like bleeding your brakes)

Definately a vacuum leak. I usually start pinching hoses and see which ones do not affect idle.
