Default Typhoon Type R intake manifold.....worth it or junk?

Just curious if the Typhoon Type R intake manifold is worth buying. I mean, it seems like a good product, my roomate has one, and it is modeled after the OEM ITR intake manifold. Also, for the price that it is (135) it seems like an exceptionally good deal. Anyone out there using it? Any opinions?

Is is the AEBS manifold, it just has 3 differnt names, its the Professional Products/AEBS Typhoon Intake Manifold

Yes, it works. I picked up about 2-3hp across the power band and a max of 6hp in the middle over a ported ITR manifold

im just curious to know how a 03 SI can run 14.7@105mph with bolt ons. what kind of bolt on are you refering to?, Nitrous?. My car only runs 14.6@93mph so u must have some hell of some bolt ons and crappy 60' times to be trapping 105mph.

Yea, wheel spin was a major issue on the run. I was running on the piece of crap stock tires. My 00 si ran a 13.9@109 on a 100 shot, but I hooked like a sonofabitch. Car woke up big time with the intake and exhaust, and reseting the ECU.
