AEBS makes more power and is cheaper. The casting is pretty rough so you might want to clean up the runners a bit..

Their are quite a few dyno plots for the AEBS manifold if you search.

At the least, the AEBS IM is equal or better than the Skunk2 IM. In 2.0l motors the AEBS makes more power. 1.6-1.8 it is equal or a little better.

In any case, it is cheap. I got mine on EBAY for $125 shipped. That is about $200 less than the Skunk2 manifold.

Here is my comparison of a tuned ported ITR manifold vs. tuned stock AEBS.

For full size pic, copy and paste link into browser, do not click. http://www.imagestation.com/pi...g.jpg

Edit: Blue line is AEBS, Red line Ported ITR

The one that makes the most power thru the rpm range is the one with the correct runner length/volume for your application.

I bought my aebs manifold from a fellow hondatech member with a hondata gasket for $120 shipped. And makes more power then the skunk. You can't beat that!

people stay with skunk2 because it's been around for awhile now. aebs is pretty new and not many people have heard of it's advantages. it might be ugly, but for the price, you can't beat it.

IMHO this is what I think:

The AEBS Manifold (longer runners) works better for a Shortrod motor like: B16A or B17A or B18C .

The Skunk2 or the Edelbrock manifold (short runners) works better for a long-rod B18C, LS VTec or CRV Vtec, 2.2 stroker kit.
