Default New Member With a much Needed Question

Whats up, Im new here to Honda-tech.com

I joined when I saw the vast technical forums this site seems to have.
Before i posted i searched for the topic under"spindle nut" and couldnt find an anwer.

My question is : Does anyone know offhand what the size to the Big spindle nut on the Cv axles are?(they are holding on the brake rotor)

I have got to get those cv's out so I can do my Tranny swap...

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Anthony

Spindle nut is size 32mm as Shakes said, Make sure you bend the tab out before trying to undo them.

You can take a flathead and get it parrallel to the rotor, then use a hammer and tap at it until it is back to the normal shape. That is what I did with mine, and it worked fine.

^^^ It was 36mm....

I first went to the store, and I noticed that a 32mm spindle removal socket it said "For Honda vehicles"

Well 32 didnt come close, Then 34, Not quite... The next step was a 36mm and it fit.

So Anyone who needs to know, On a 5th gen 36mm fits.. (the 1 socket was 25 bucks man... jesus)
