Installed Prothane Mount, but did I do it right?
Okay, I got the chance to install my Prothane Front Motor Mount insert into my 95 Accord.
I took out the old mount, and it was ripped. I put the inserts in along with the old one, since the new inserts had grooves to slip into the old one, is that how it is supposedly done? Or do I remove the old mount (center rubber piece) and cut the rubber out from the mount and put the inserts in?
I feel the difference, but want to know if I did it correctly....

the old mount fits inside of the new bushing. I installed one of these a few years ago, and it has since melted and deformed a little.
It melted!?
How did that occur? I've never heard of a motor mount melting, or even a polyurethane one melting.
I found out that I did do it correctly, the new insert goes over the stock mount.

it sounded to me as if you did do it correctly. Mine IS melted and shrunk! It may be a little different on my 91, but the mount sits right next to the Neuspeed header on my h22a
