is an MSD 6AL worth getting if im going to try and build a N/A sohc zc vtec? would there be any power gains with installing one on an n/a car? i've seen the 6AL go on turbo cars, but what about N/A cars? what are the benefits of such a system vs stock?

 

Is your setup gonna be crazy? I've asked this question around before; most people don't even get MSD even when they're putting 350 to the ground..

 

i was planning on bisimoto headers, crower stage 2 cam, crower ti springs/retainers, and quite possibly domed pistoned and forged rods with p&p. this is all down the line.

you wont really gain anything with that on a honda. maybe a smoother idle or more response. not really worth it to be a thing that can leave you stranded if the box burns out or the ignitor fails, which happens alot.
