Got an 02' 954 CBR RR, spring (weather) is almost here (NYC) looking to get an Muffler which one, any one with sound clips or anything make my choice ezer ? was looking into D&D and Micron Mufflers ? don't want it TOOO Loud, what is some of you guys have on ur 954's ? also anyone with an hook up or a site where i could get over sea's parts like from the U.K or Austrilia ?

 

I just got the Jardine RT-one for my 929. The sound is awesome. I don't have a sound clip, but if you want to call me I can rev it into the phone.

 

i had the devil. i loved it. i had a jardine rt-one on my f4i and i liked it, but my friends f4i had a high mount devil which made me get one for the 954 when i upgraded bikes. D&D is an annoying loud pipe, so don't get that. Micron is good if you buy a full system, otherwise for just a slip on pipe, i'd get a devil high mount.

Thanks for the sound clip..should i get a mid-mount ? devil sounds nice not to loud little to stock but with an louder tone on the back ..any one with D&D or Micron or Yuhri. (however u might spell that Co.)

I got a http://www.quill.com high mount on mine its not to loud and looks tite.

 

I have a D and D on my bike and it is loud as **** almost to loud!!! I really like the sound of the two brothers pipes.....my buddy has one and it sounds really good I think!!!!

 

Get a 2bros pipe... the rumble is unique and deep, the power addition is there, and you can choose among shape, and material (ie carbon, stainless, or titanium)... I have a C5 titanium high mount on my f4i, its the greatest thing ever

 

should i look into a slip on system or full system ? and any site where to look at the 2 bro's and D&D i was thinking about a mid mount muffler ?

P.S how come my email noifications dont work when i post i dont get an email telling me if anyone relpyed ? i did check of the box on right to email me all replies to this topic?

Yes, both should have websites. I would personally recommend just the muffler as the full systems usually aren't worth the price of the headers. For your bike, if its the same as my dad's 929 was, you have three bolts to pull off the muffler and you may have to cut off the sound deadening cone in there. After that just bolt the new one on. If you wanna spend the extra money, get a pcIII and get it dyno tuned for another $60-80. If you are in NYC and want to go riding or need help, let me know, my F4i comes up next sunday.
