About 3 weeks ago a friend of mine took my car (92 hatch with 96 gsr motor and trans) to the store ( a friday night) he came back a didnt say anything to me and when i left in my car later that night i noticed my car smelled funny like something burnt. a couple days later i started have just a little clutch problem (was getting hard to shift gears and 3rd would grind when i would race. come to find could my dumb a$$ friend tried to impress some girls by doing a burn out in my car and he said he pulled up next to them in 3rd gear clutched and stopped. then when he went to do the burn out he thought he was in first gear but was in 3rd and smoked my clutch really bad.

Well now my clutch doesnt seem to be slipping at all but when i start my car i cant put it in gear i have to start my car in gear and my clutch pedal is pretty much useless and this morning when i went to work my clutch pedal goes straight to the floor without hardly any resistance. so i dont know what i need a new clutch, synchros maybe new M.C.

BTW my clutch was in great shape smooth gear transistion until he did this.

 

sounds like time for monetary re-imbursement or small claims court.

What kind of friend doesn't respect another's property?

edit: may have to replace your clutch/pressure plate...and hopefully your synchros are ok...

And most girls arent usually impressed by burnouts....they typically think you're a ******* idiot with no ***** for driving like an assbag when you do that.
