JDM H22 Dyno - Pictures inside!
I know i posted this in the all-motor forum but i have a feeling a lot of you dont dont go in there so i figured i would post them up here as well.
mods:
-AEM CAI with bypass valve
-AN-R Header
-2 1/2" piping with a dynomax muffler (side note: right now the test pipe between the header and the exhaust is only 2" and will be changed soon)
Dyno was on a dynapack in 4th gear.

sorry about the a/f pic... the color he used for the lines werent the darkest.
we did 5 runs, each run the car made a little but more power (car was still not fully warmed up) untill it peaked at 189whp for the last 3 runs. Air/fuel ratio was pretty much between 13-13.7:1 from 3500rpms and up. all in all im very happy with the results. i was mostly concerned about the a/f but that ended up turning out much better than i expected. Like i said, tomorrow ill post the dyno of the hp/trq and a/f graph.
so what do you guys think?

the time ramp was set for 15 seconds. thanks for your responce on preludeonline too

what is up with that torque curve? Your hp numbers are good, but the torque curve would have me concerned.
also make sure you post the dyno here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=691830
in before daboi630

Look at the scale, Behan.
Those are pretty good numbers for that length ramp time . . . . congrats. Do you have any baselines (like, before the header . . . .
)?

i did, look at the torque curve. it should like this

relatively flat, not like a roller coaster.
or does that have something to do with the dynapack?

It has to do something w/ the dynapack. Look at the scaling. Every block is 2HP! On a DynoJet, the scaling is different.

I would also disregard what you see before 3000 because on the dynapack the car was started in 4th gear and before 3000 is the tech getting car spinning.

It's hp at the hub - the "flywheel" label is a quirk of the dynapack software, it lets you put in a correction factor (tcf) if you want. As long as it's set at 1, you're looking at actual power measured directly from the hubs.

Was that car bought from a Guy in NY? Or did you build it?
I think that i might be able to shed some light on the car....
I might know the builder....
The ECU was bought from http://www.jdmshit.com Newman. From what we were told it is the "spoon" program with engagement at 5k.
When he ran the car at the track with a LSD tranny he ran 14.1 with Kumho Escata tires and a GREEN driver. I think that the car had alot more in it....
The avatar looks a little diff what has he done to the car and are there PIcs?

haha nice!! Sweet numbers man. How you liking the car?
We're doing fine.. I got my GTP, and got an 88 Stang GT 'vert for my DD for the summer.. Ken's doing fine, just got his suspension on his lude.
Man, great numbers. Lookin' foreward to seeing what you do with 'er. How's she running for you?
