I need your help again everyone!
My 94 is acting up. This is more of a concern than anything else up with my car. On the way back from NYC this weekend I felt a strange feel in my wheel. If anyone ride a bike they will understand this feel. It feels as though a headset is tight and the stearing binds in one area and then moves freely in another area. It is not too bad but feels strange.. Also if I hit a dit in the road the wheel will turn ( always to the right) and I feel more torque steer than normal... I am not sure if it is tie rod issue, steering issue or maybe a suspension issue.. i am thinking about taking it to the shop but if there are things I can check before it would help me out.. My ride has 204K on it .. New shocks old springs. Any suggestions
i remember when i worked at sears back in the day, the auto center would do a free suspension diagnosis before every alignment. Not that i've taken my car there since i left that job 5 yrs ago. They're too expensive without an employee discount.
and if you do take if anywhere for a "free" inspection, take the assessment with a grain of salt. Remember they're out to make money, and nothing's really "free"...

Hey I am back.. Took the advise and had the alignment checked. No dice.. Still feels as though it is floating.. Especially going straight. I do have 204K on it so I would expect more "play" than a new car but it feels like a gm or chevy now.. any other suggestions.. Maybe work springs or a lose tie bar? Let me know I am going to crawn under it this weekend if it is nice and hopefully I will see something.. Oh- I replaced the shocks last year but but the springs.. Could be the cause of my frustration?
