Default damn wheel hop...so what causes it???

hmm so when i launch i get bad wheel hop and i have a quite of bit movement from the motor when i floor it in the lower gears(1st or 2nd). i'm planning on getting es inserts but i was searching on here and read that maybe getting new struts(my OEM ones are blown-but since my car isn't lowered its not a bad ride) would help my wheel hop a little...is this true? also...would actually lowering my car help at all? i do plan on doing this of course(hate the stock 4 finger gap! ) but yeah...does lowering your car help your launching? ok thanks for the help

New mounts(this could go both ways more hop or less depending on the kind you get) lower your tire pressures. slide your clutch out when launching dont drop it.....it has alot to do with driving it.

yea this stock suspension isn't cutting it.lol when i get the money i'll be upgrading a few things. oh yeah i don't just drop the clutch...i "feather" it....tho i'm not sure if i'm doing it the right way...i've heard soooo many ways on how to feather it. anyways...i just let the clutch out til i feel the car wanting to move forward and keep it there(with my clutch its about a little less than halfway) and rev it to about 2250rpms then i let the clutch off and push down the gas and i'm off. 2250 seems too low but i don't bog and i don't spin my tires...just this damn hop. i've tried launching from 3000+ and i just sit there and spin them all day long.

Thats what I have The ES bushing motor mount inserts they are only for front and rear but I hook up pretty good, but I can get some halatious scratch in 2nd gear if I want to.

I dont know man get some softer tires and lower your car a bit, or gain some more weight lol j/k......I even put my battery in the back and I only get wheel hop once in a while......
