the d16z6 is the SOHC Vtec motor. the b16a3 is the del sol DOHC Vtec motor. Im running a d16z6 in my 88 hatch with i/h/e.

 

what do you like about the motor?? what headers and intake do u have?

 

what do i liek about it? well, it was a somewhat easy swap and its faster than my stock d15b. plus now i have MPFI. I have a AEM Cold-Air w/bypass valve and a Lightspeed 4-2-1 one piece header.

i am putting down 107 wtq
and 121 whp with intake, headers and exhaust

shooting to 200 whp or more with 10 psi

nice i like to see other EF's with a D16 right now with CRX si tranny i have DC sport headers, custom intake, cat back system, SAFC II, stripped interior, centerdorce clutch, and BMW metallic grey paint.....what intake setup did you use with the AEM, what cars it from? im lookin to add ZEX a cam, ZEX valve springs, ZEX wet nitrous kit, BBK throttle body, Venom Intake Manifold, AEM Cam Gear, and upgrade the fuel system...any other suggestions?
