Your not going to feel it hardly at all. If you want to know if it goes off or not put a Vtec light in your dash.

i can hear mine. y8 with v2 intake, otherwise stock. vtec kicks in at 5500, and when the tach passes over 5700 it's definately noticeably louder.

drive around in 2nd gear for awhile. slowly keep going back and forth over the crossover point. the stock tach is usually about 200 rpms off, so listen closely at that point. you just have to listen with a trained ear.

have you checked oil??? if oil is low than vtec will not engage.... also check your thermostat (car has to be at operating temp for vtec)..

good luck and i hope that helps

try splicing into your vtec wire and hooking it up to an led if your really worried about it not engaging.

Uh..wow. Define pretty hard? I'd like to see what the power band on the dyno chart looks like. Does it spike all of a sudden?
