Default Flywheel, help!

Does anyone have any links on changing the rear main seal for a 90 civic si, and flywheel bolt torque. I'm using a resurfaced flywheel will i have to do anything else. I'm used to aircooled volkswagens an they usually require crank to flywheel enplay to be set, does this have to be done to a civic? HELP!!!

The flywheel bolts are 87ft/lbs, and the pressure plate bolts are 19ft/lbs (in a 'star' pattern), take the rear main seal out with a small screwdriver (be careful as not to knick the crankshaft) install with the appropriate seal driver (I just use a a 3/8 drive extension and tap the seal in evenly.) And there is no endplay adjustment necessary.

Damn, I wish volkswagens were that easy! Thanks for the info, I'll be taking on that task this weekend.

A little tip when installing the rear main seal, rest the seal in the grooves but do not force it in, put the flywheel on and torque it down. Take flywheel of and look at the main seal, the flywheel should of forced it in. Sometimes when using a seal driver, the seal will still pop out on one side. So there is another way to do it.
