I have tried 3 or 4 diffrent brackets and they all suck...
What are you guys using???

 

Either switch to a DA throttle cable or call place racing for their bracket. Im using place racing's bracket with the stock 88-91 Si cable and i have zero problems.

 

i used the hcp one in my crx

 

I got the 90-93 integra cable and i am using the bracket that came on teh b16, no problems, kinda doesn't mount perfectly to my firewall but i ain't complaining

THE PLACE RACING BRACKET IS GOOD...ALSO THE STOCK ONE TOO...YOU GOTTA MODIFY IT A LITTLE

 

I used a 90 teg cable + bracket that came w/B16.

 

seems easier to replace the bracket than the cable. i used an HCP bracket on my brother's B16A swap. $10 shipped.

I used both my stock one and the one that come on the B16. I did a lil bending, a lil cuttin, I wasnt about to let a stupid throttle cable keep me from driving my B16 when I put it in since I forgot to order one!

Where can you get the HCP throttle bracket? Can you use that with the 90-93 teg cable?

You can order it here:

But it's made to be used with the stock D-series throttle cable. If you have a b-series cable already, you should be able to use the bracket that came on the B-series engine's intake manifold.

 

save some money and do it like i did. its with a '90 integra cable:

 

damn, a nut, a bolt, a scrap piece of metal, and a drill. that's a pretty good creative alternative.
