Do they come w/flanges to allow flexing? Can someone post a pic of a stock cat w/flanges? My gsr is running a poor str8 pipe from previous owner....cant stand the smell/sound. Please help! Thanks!

 

If you're going to buy a cat off eBay, make sure you get a Carsound. Some of the cheap ones aren't even cats and look more like resonators.

The carsounds that you get off ebay don't have the flanges welded on, but you can get this work done at any muffler shop.

 

ok, thats cool, but I took my Teg to a muffler shop and placed it on the lift...the dumb previous owner cut the whole cat off including flanges....placed a straight-pipe directly to the header. The header doesnt even have a flange....now the pip that meets the header is cracked....and the muffler guys says either get a flex-pipe or new cat w/flanges. So what do i freakin do???? Also throwing a cel for 02 sensor. HEADACHE!!!!!!!!!!!
